Frank J. Cassanelli is a Senior Managing Director and Principal of CF. With more than 25 years of experience, Mr. Cassanelli has flourished as a senior leader in numerous finance, accounting, consulting, and advisory roles.

Mr. Cassanelli’s experience extends across a variety of finance and accounting areas ranging from middle-market to multi-billion-dollar companies; sample engagements include:

Strategic advisor for a $1B owner and operator of single-family homes for lease with $400M in annual revenue. Led company through transformation of entire accounting organization. Managed company through a restatement and first audit of financial statements.

Delivered interim and crisis management support for a $2B multinational auto rental company with $10B in annual revenue. Directed the transformation of the accounting organization delivering both working and human capital efficiencies while mutually reducing internal control and audit risk. Implementation of enhanced processes delivered $5M+ in annual savings. Delivered significant audit support to meet public filing deadlines. In conjunction with treasury, led accounting through the issuance of $1B in variable funding rental car asset-backed notes through a European special purpose entity.

Supported a leading multinational auto and specialty finance company through the sale of $8B in assets to a multinational banking and financial services corporation. Managed the planning, execution, and integration of post-transaction projects. Directed the liquidation of the remaining $2B in assets related to real estate lending and middle market lending subsidiaries.

Interim Chief Financial Officer of a captive insurance company, directing the sale of the company to a multinational property and casualty insurer and carrier.

Interim Chief Financial Officer of a national bus manufacturer, leading the restructuring of the finance organization through consolidation creating working and human capital efficiencies.

Managed bankruptcy planning and process administration for a glass container manufacturer with $1B in annual revenue. Successfully renegotiated large contracts with third-party vendors delivering vital working capital efficiencies.

Director of Reorganization Accounting for a multinational auto rental company serving an integral role in the turnaround of the company consummating with a sale. Subsequently served as Director of General Accounting, leading a team of over 50 employees.
